That's right everyone. My new Macbook Pro, my soon to be baby Clive, is sitting in a UPS facility all weekend under 20 minutes from my door. He's all alone in the dark cold and likely stinky warehouse till they reopen Monday.
Pardon me while I flounce around terribly dramatically and crying like a spoiled 12 year old who didn't get the pony she wanted. I have to wait till MONDAY!?!
What if there is a fire? What if someone breaks in? What if he's lonely? WAHH!

I feel your pain…really!
I was wondering if you ever replaced your powerbook yet. Which MacBook Pro did you end up getting? I got the middle one with2 gigs. I kind of wish I got the 7200rpm drive. I can add my own ram to make it 4 gigs though. It’s very easy, from what I hear.
Too bad you have to wait all weekend for Clive. Congrats on the purchase though.
Hrm - I’m in the same boat - something I want very badly and paid too much for is 20 miles from its destination, sitting in a UPS storage facility until monday. I wonder if they do this purposefully to drive us crazy.
