How does this vacuous person have a “following?” She has a whiny, raspy voice, empty head, can only cook as well as the average person, self-centered but totally into “hero worship” and has absolutely no sense of style. At least she’s doing the right thing for herself by grabbing the money before people wise up and smell the slop.

I believe the Italian chef in question, from PBS, might be Biba Caggiano whose show was “From Biba’s Italian Kitchen.”

Rachel Ray and that Welch’s Grape Juice girl both scare me in that, “I am going to eat your brains” sort of way.

Overseen on my dad’s obnoxious big-screen tv: Rachel Ray has dirty fingernails.

Yeah I had a day off work last week and I saw part of her show when Dr. Phil’s wife was on (I googled to see what she does but it seems that she just “has beauty secrets” and is married to Dr. Phil–so exciting). Robin was showing Rachel what hand cream she uses and Rachel couldn’t open it for like 5 minutes. She actually never managed to open it and just squeeze hand cream out the back of the tube.

Then she said “Oh my gravy.”

No, not Lydia’s kitchen. I will have to ask my sister about the name of that show. She was a shorter, chubby italian cook. She was wonderful.
