So I watched the new GhostHunters tonight.
First off even though it was second, they did find something at the Henson studios on the heat camera, human size and shape, hovering three feet off the ground, and lots of sounds. Cool.
But it's the "Manson house" that has me totally awake now. Have I ever mentioned I was born ON THE DAY of the murders? Well I was- same day, same year, I think even the same hour time zones acounted for.
Anyway as a result I've been fascinated about the case since I was kid. It was the freakiest thing I've ever seen. I'm not sure if want to save the show or erase it and never watch it again.
They did the Manson House (actually a newly built house 200 foot away, as close as you can get to it since the actual house was demolished years ago) and the Jim Henson Studios (Formerly the Charlie Chaplin studios).
They got some interesting communication answering questions across a meter with lights saying it was Jay Sebring (one of the murdered), which I'm not taking as face value being the nature of the equipment, but the captured EVPs are something else entirely.
They were of a woman pleading and another horrifically wailing are absolutely chilling. I got a cold shiver from head to toe.
Now I can't sleep. Not sure I want to. Buh.

I LOVE that show! The radio broadcasts are really cool on Saturday nights on Beyond Reality Radio (go to the TAPS website and click on archived radio show episodes!). The best are when they interviewed those people from Most Haunted- you know the melodramatic UK actress and the raging queen who screams like a little girl when the wind blows.
Anyhow- yes, last night’s show was pretty weird. The EVPS are really freaky- even if just for the fact that the evoke visceral responses in the listeners. I love that TAPS try to debunk a lot of their own findings on the spot.
I’ve never seen this show, but that sure is freaky. When is the show on? What channel?
The concept of EVP is so amazingly frightening…what if it’s real? Brrr………..
