Several years ago, I was suffering from this same thing. I'd sleep regularly, but then be nearly falling asleep at my desk. I'd get home from work and fall asleep for 2-3 hours, wake up groggy and feeling drugged. I felt like I was 80 years old. 
Turns out, a serious protein deficiency was taking a toll on my heart. I'm a vegetarian and wasn't eating enough. You need One Gram of lean protein for every Five Pounds you weigh. Try eating lean protein with every meal and see how you feel in a week or two...I think you'll be amazed and pleased...
