Steve “The Crocodiel Hunter” Irwin, dead at 44 killed by a one in a million stingray attack. To quote a couple of farkers: “he died as he lived, provoking dangerous animals” . and “It’s like losing Bill Nye to a baking soda volcano accident. ”

He leaves his wife and two kids. Oddly, as cruel as it sounds, you knew he’d die this way somehow despite thinking it’d never actually happen. He took way to many chances with wild animals to die an old man peacefully in his bed that’s for sure. The sad part is he decided a film a segement underwater for his daughter’s own nature show since there was bad weather on the surface for his own filming… and of course they got it all on film. I wonder how long she’ll feel guilty about that? Poor kid. Luckily her mom seems to be a smart cookie. (and I also wonder how long before the video gets stolen and put up on the news or youtube.)
