I hope this doesn't qualify as spam, but I just wanted to let anyone know that might be interested in donating to the Red Cross for hurricane relief that it is much, much easier to make a phone call to 1-800-HELP-NOW than it is to get on the website. Or you can donate via Amazon.com.

Criticism of a government official does not constitute hatred of this country. It's quite the opposite, Red Rebel. Apathy is anti-America. Consider how and why our country was founded in the first place and why we have a little thing called free speech in the Bill of Rights. Should we live in a country where criticism of the government is forbidden and would land us in prison? If your answers is yes, perhaps you should move to Cuba. As the saying goes, I may not agree with what you say, but I support your right to say it. I also believe that the neo-cons, liberals, lefties, righties, middlins, red states, blue states and everyone in between can and should have intelligent and civil discourse. I think that the President can and should do a better job of responding to domestic amd international crisis. He's got a history of delayed reaction--consider his response to 9/11 and theb Tsunami. In times likes this, I think we need a strong president, but also one who can show empathy and compassion. Instead of spreading vitriol and hate, why don't we agree to disagree on politics and band together as Americans and take care of our own? The people hurt by Katrina need us. I'm donating to the Red Cross and will continue to support the "leftie" causes I believe in. I challenge you to do the same for the hurricane victims and the causes you believe in, instead wasting time and energy trolling. Peace, my fellow American.

Oh yeah, sure, its all Bush's fault... he made that hurricane show up. Oh yeah, and thats right, you can lead the country better, have a higher education and um.. lets see.. a Life?

Make something of yourself other than sitting at home and playing with pixels and we will see who compares.

The link about cutting vacation short is from March 2005 and concerns the Schiavo case. One brain-dead woman versus thousands of people in peril. Hmmmmmmm. Guess it was more important to keep the vegetable alive than it is to help Louisiana. Wasn't it the anti-Spock who said, "The needs of the few out way the needs of the many"?
