   oh I hope this principal gets fired… I mean it was a charity event… and she participated by being in that contest. I am going to make a few phone calls. This is rediculous!

   Completely insane. The principal didn’t say Okay.. I’ll participate only if the student who wins is a wimp. So what? He threw it a little hard.. it’s not like they said he walked up and jammed it in her face.. he THREW IT. I’ve thrown those things before and I gotta tell yah, I’ve been on the recieving end as well.. what’s this Principal got for a neck? overdone spaghetti?

   More information:

   The first six students threw their pies without incident. But school officials said the next student, a 15-year-old boy, disobeyed the rules by lunging at Principal Karen Abbott and smashing a pie into her face, snapping her head back and knocking her off-balance.

   According to the pep rally rules, students were told to stand at least one foot away from their teacher/administrator targets and toss the pies into their faces without force, police records show.

   School officials gave police a digital photograph of the alleged incident involving Abbott. The photograph depicts the boy forcing the pie into Abbott’s face with his right hand while a small group of students watches from the background, mouths agape.

   “When it was his turn, he came full force at me, hitting me very hard so that my head snapped back,” Abbott wrote in a statement to Danbury Township police.
