O. M. G.

Unbelievable. Just read it.

I am so glad I do not work in an office.

That was completely insane! Since when is “tupidity” a protected class in the workplace?

To be fair, it wasn’t in an office environment, although I’ve worked in plenty of offices it could easily fit into. No, this happened during my job as a food service vendor (a.k.a. the fairy floss cart) at a local amusement park… apparently a vast training ground for the unenglightened youth of the area.

    And thanks for the link.

This is not limited to the workplace. It happens in marriages, in bars, in supermarkets and in churches. Just a matter of people knowing where the ‘line’ is between self-responsibility and asking questions. Good God, man.

This makes my head spin. My suggestion is to (1) avoid said intern at all costs and (2) kick the HR person’s ass who hired her.
