Sorry I’ve been so quiet the last couple days but I’ve been sleeping alot.
I am taking megadoses of Benedryl for poison ivy.
I am hyper sensitive to it due to having it so bad back in high school thanks to someone thrown poison ivy in a camp fire at a picnic and the smoke blew in my face all night thanks to the wind. I had it ALL over my face so bad I was one solid thick scab from hairline to chin. I couldn’t move my lips or eyes really, I was out of school about two weeks.
Right now I have it on my eye lids, nose, lips, chin, neck and cheeks as well as a few other places like my arms and hands. My eye lids have swollen up - which sucks. I am itching like crazy and I’m not getting anything done due to sleeping so much. I wake up and pop more Benedryl and pass out again.
So excuse me while I get over this. I’ll post stuff as I can in the few hours I am actually awake.

I know where you’re coming from. I would get p.i. after sitting inside all day, for several days straight. Smoke blowing, the dog chewing on it then licking my hands — if it was in the vicinity, I’d get it.
I would like to suggest a few things:
1) If you’re near a beach or salt water, go spend a day there. Get wet. Let the water dry on you, particularly on your affliction. That salt dries PI up like no tomorrow.
2) Barring that: Soak paper towels in salt water. Freeze them briefly in the freezer. Lay on afflicted areas. Salt water dries, ice petrifies the area, and relief is present.
I don’t think either of these things are necessarily medically right, but they have really worked for me in the past. Good luck.
Oh my, that sounds awful. I hope you’re feeling better soon!
Yikes! Sending wishes for you to get better soon!
