I LOVE DIRECT TV!

It happily apps to be a music video channel that does not in fact suck! In fact, it seems to be ONLY alternative/punk (et al) music. NO rap! NO Celine! Right now I’m watching a Jane’s Addiction video! SWEET!
Reason #1947 for you to go Direct TV.

You know, I hear people rave about their Tivos, but I don’t know if I’ve ever heard anybody rave about sattelite as opposed to cable. I pay out the ass for cable — $60/month for a digital cable package just so I can get Turner Classic Movies for my wife, Fox Sports World for me, and BBC America for the both of us. Maybe sattelite TV’s a better option. I wish somebody would do a write-up of the advantages of sattelite over cable…

Is there anything they can’t do?
It’s always been there — used to be Much Music USA. Not a horrible channel until they go on their Paid Program marathons. ‘Course, I’m not a huge fan of alt rock over and over, so I can only deal with it for 10 minutes or so.
It’s on regular cable too. I love that channel.
Ah, J.D. I’ll have to write something up. Major DirecTV fan here. Our new apartments have it wired in all the buildings, so we didn’t even have to use our dish, but either way, we drool. Oh, yeah…off to compose, but have to mention we get caller id on our tv thanks to DirecTV. Not sure if it’s everywhere, but at our new place, it is and it rocks.
I personally think cable sucks in SoCal, but not when we were in Seattle.
