I Love Anti-aliasing
Posted by jen June 23rd, 2002 in Apple.Microsoft snuck out Internet Explorer 5.2 when I wasn’t looking, not sure whats new yet other than ALL window/page text is anti-alised in Mac OSX. Sweet. Everything looks smooth, even my entry text here looks like print almost.

Saw Ali Tonight, Will Smith is a really good actor, captured the Ali I kinda remember growing up. The story was slow in parts but worth seeing, but it shows his little circle of the world with all the civil rights madness going on at the time. The deaths of his freind Malcom X, and Marting Luther King, the self-granidising of a younger Don King, Ali’s neat relationship with Howard Cosell, and The general creepy golddigging and self-serving of the Nation of Islam.
After seeing so many around Ali cut down by bullets, I began hoping the “Ali curse” (as we began to call it here watching it) would somehow find it’s way to Don King. That man annoys me to no end. No such luck. Not yet anyway.

OSX does look sweet . . . I just can’t afford to rebuy all of my software.
i almost bought a mac today… then i realized i couldn’t afford the monitors, even with the special rebates they have now… and then i figured that i could get more features for my money with a pc… but oh, macs are quite pretty.

you can use any monitor you want really, if the say you can’t they lie, you can. You might need an adapter, becasue the new macs havethat fancy connector but they should still have a regular vga one, but if you need a url to get one, email me.
i iwsh *I* had a cinema display or even a flat panel, I don’t I have a two regular pc monitors. 19″ main one and the 17″ is on an extra video card (Cost $60) so I could run the second one.

yeah but who wants a mac with an ugly old monitor?!? the purtty monitors are half the fun! i’m really digging the new i-mac . . . if I keep reading your blog, you might just convince me to get one instead of a PC!
a mac is stilla mac no matter how he montor looks, but you won’t get he “OHHHH AHHHH” out of your jealous PC freinds. BUY a mac, get a montior later.
Or buy an Imac and have the best ofboth worlds, I wold love a new imac it has more power than my 2+years old G4 tower does now. whine. and it spins - cool.
once you go mac, you never go back.
